Crated freight to all 50 states

We ship used outboard motors anywhere in the United States. Every motor leaves us crated and goes by freight, so it arrives upright, protected and ready to rig.

Freight isn't included in the listed price, because it depends on the motor and where it's going. Send us your ZIP code and we'll set out the freight cost in your quote before you commit to anything.

What you get

Packed properly, priced up front

Crated for the trip

Each motor is strapped into a crate so the powerhead, lower unit and propeller are protected in transit.

Freight, door to door

Motors travel by freight carrier, which handles heavy items far better than parcel services.

Cost in your quote

You see the freight cost for your address in writing, alongside the motor price, before anything is charged.

All 50 states

From Florida to Washington, Alaska and Hawaii. Tell us where the motor is going and we'll work out the route.

  3. 03

    Motor is crated

Once payment is confirmed, the motor is crated and booked with the carrier.

  4. 04

    Delivery

The carrier contacts you to arrange a delivery time. Check the crate, then sign.

What affects the freight cost

  • Size and weight. A 40 HP tiller motor costs less to move than a 250 HP V6 with a 25" shaft.
  • Distance. Neighbouring states usually cost less than coast to coast.
  • Type of address. Business addresses with a loading dock are often cheaper than homes.
  • Liftgate. If there's no dock or forklift where you are, the truck needs a liftgate to lower the crate.

Delivery options

  • To your home with liftgate service, so the crate is lowered to the ground.
  • To a business such as a marina, boat yard or workshop with a dock or forklift.
  • Terminal pickup. Collect the crate from the carrier's nearest depot. This is often the cheapest option.
  • Local pickup in Blountstown, Florida, by arrangement.

When your motor arrives

  1. Look over the crate before the driver leaves.
  2. If anything looks damaged, write it on the delivery receipt before you sign, and take photos.
  3. Unpack the motor and check it over.
  4. Contact us straight away by WhatsApp, phone or email if anything isn't right.

Questions

Shipping FAQ

How long does delivery take?

It depends on the distance and the carrier's schedule. We give you an estimate with your freight quote, and the carrier calls ahead to set a delivery time.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Our standard service covers all 50 states. If you're elsewhere, send us a message with your location and we'll tell you what's possible.

Can I pick the motor up myself?

Yes. Local pickup in Blountstown, Florida can be arranged. Let us know when you enquire.

Can I ship more than one motor together?

Yes. Add them all to your cart or list them in your enquiry, and we'll quote freight for the whole shipment.

Is the shipment insured?

Ask us about freight insurance when you get your quote, and we'll include the options for your shipment.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

Someone needs to be there to check the crate and sign for it. The carrier contacts you beforehand to agree on a time.

Need a freight price?

Send the motor you're interested in and your ZIP code, and we'll reply with the freight cost to your door.
